Damian’s third running book, Run Forever, is out 9 April, 2026. The title follows the bestselling In It For The Long Run and award-nominated We Can’t Run Away From This. The recovering journalist has 25-plus years’ experience of writing for newspapers, magazines and websites, specialising in sport, travel and the great outdoors.

A co-founder of BBC award-nominated The Green Runners, Damian is an outspoken critic of sportswashing and has boycotted races with high-carbon sponsors. He has pledged to fly once a year maximum for running and exhibits an appropriately dodgy haircut. He’s also a co-founder of Into Ultra.
